Top Three Finalists Headed to Top Tech Competition in Cleveland, OH
April 12, 2023 – NationaLease, one of the largest full service truck leasing organizations in North America, announced the 10 regional winners of the 2023 NationaLease Tech Challenge Exam. For 12 years, there have been 9 regional winners that advanced from the Written Exam to the Hands-On Competition of the NationaLease Tech Challenge. This year, in addition to the 9 regional winners, the top-scoring second place finisher will also advance to the Hands-On Challenge and have the chance of being titled Top Tech.
All ten finalists will be advancing to the next stage which is the Hands-On Competition hosted by Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, IL. The top three techs will go on to compete at this year’s TMCSuperTech Competition, in September 2023, representing NationaLease.
This year’s finalists include:

• Region 4: Jason Newman, Salem NationaLease

• Region 6: Mark Duselis, Aim NationaLease
• Region 7: Wade Murphy-Price, Airoldi Brothers NationaLease

• Region 8: Clyde Weathers, Hogan Truck Leasing, Inc., a NationaLease member
• Region 9: John Norwood, Aim NationaLease
The NationaLease Tech Challenge, now in its 13th year, recognizes member company technicians with the opportunity to compete in a series of events testing their maintenance knowledge and skills. A record number of 321 member company technicians completed their exam on March 15, the preliminary step needed to qualify for the title of NationaLease Top Tech.
