DOWNERS GROVE, IL, Oct. 2, 2024 – NationaLease, one of the largest full-service truck leasing organizations in North America, is pleased to announce that many NationaLease member technician competitors finished in the top rankings at the recent 2024 TMCSuperTech Competition, held during its fall meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The TMCSuperTech Competition is North America’s premier skills event for professional commercial vehicle technicians. TMCSuperTech contestants come from all segments of the trucking industry, and many are state, regional or corporate champions.
“Out of 31 stations, NationaLease member technicians won 10 stations – an impressive 32% of the total testing stations,” said Joe Puff, vice president of Truck Technology & Maintenance, NationaLease. “In addition, two of the three overall top placements were NationaLease members, while the top placement for Overall Team Champion was won by two technicians from Hogan Truck Leasing, a NationaLease Member. We could not be more impressed with these technicians and proud to have them as part of our NationaLease family.”

The competition is held over two days. Day One features various table-top and hands-on skills challenges for the Professional Technician Track, which includes all types of technicians. Day Two features more skills challenges, with everyone competing in both day’s rounds. The final day of the event also includes a technician training fair (featuring numerous hands-on job-related training classes that qualify for ASE Education Foundation continuing education units) followed by a competition awards banquet.
