NationaLease Spring Business Meeting Addresses Regulations, Economy

Downers Grove, IL, April 9, 2025 – NationaLease held their 2025 Spring Business Meeting in conjunction with the TRALA Annual Meeting on April 7-8 in Miami, FL. With a focus on emission regulations and the state of the economy, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the most pressing issues in the truck leasing and rental industry.  

Jane Clark, Senior Vice President of Operations at NationaLease, kicked off the meeting with an update on NationaLease and expressed her optimism for the coming year despite the challenges ahead, setting the stage for the rest of the event. 

Ken Davis, Founder of Greentree Advisors LLC, and Mark Jamieson, Director of Business Development, Alternate Power Products at Cummins Inc., spoke on the latest developments concerning ACT, CARB, and EPA regulations and the future sustainability in heavy-duty trucking, respectively. Davis and Jamieson then engaged in a follow-up discussion to further the conversation surrounding potential changes to these regulations, moderated by Jane Clark. 

Jim Meil, Principal, Industry Analysis at ACT Research LLC, presented his economic outlook for 2025, highlighting the potential impact of inflation, interest rates, tariffs, and other factors on the business environment both at home and abroad. The day concluded with the TRALA Welcome Social, offering attendees the chance to network, connect, and socialize.  

Day two was highlighted by an in-depth interview with Mike Walker, Director of Transportation at Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp., who extolled the benefits of choosing NationaLease as a leasing provider. The remainder of the day was dedicated to one-on-one Executive Team meetings to discuss individual strategies for sales growth and the TRALA Technology Reception, concluding with the NationaLease Dinner.
